I'm really starting to hate humanity, but I digress... I really only have ten good friends that I talk to, and only two out of those ten are TRUE friends, ones that will not leave me hanging when I want to kill myself or let me succumb to my darkest desires. Just wanted to say that.

My Friends (c)

Does it make you happy,
Cutting another down?
Your words try to be blades,
To cut me down, to frown,
But those blades are dull.
I laugh at your pity,
Your sad attempts at content,
But my strength is wide as the city.
My persistence is the sun,
But my doubts, the clouds,
Smothering the light,
Its dark, depressing shrouds,
Overshadowing that meek sign,
Of hope, that next day,
Seems shattered, broken, dead.
So your attack that I say,
Did not effect my being,
Began a downward chain,
To pour sadness upon my soul,
Like the tears of the sky, the rain,
My life would've been obliterated,
If not for the friends beside me,
Who empowered my persistence,
Out of the sadness, to see,
That my life is not as worthless as I though,
The false pretenses that others said, I bought,
But now I am back on that path, the ultimate test,
So I will never falter again, and always try my best.
